Dealer Solutions North America specializes in providing solutions and strategies to the automotive retail dealerships in both Canada and the United States. Our core focus is in dealership mergers and acquisitions, where we have built a reputation on confidentiality, transparency, fairness and most importantly, results.
Russell Hill – Chief Operating Officer, USA
Russell R. Hill is a career professional in the luxury car business. Russell is a former head of sales and retail operations for Audi of America. During his 33 years with the luxury division of Volkswagen of America, Russ successfully held senior executive positions in sales, marketing, and retail field operations for both Audi and Porsche. In his final ten years with Audi of America, Russ led the Audi Comeback Team to record sales performance making North America the number one export market for Audi worldwide.
Following his career with Audi, Russ became a retailer in Northern California. As an Area Vice President, he led the development of the first retail platform for Penske Automotive Group in Northern California. His seven-dealership group included the fourth largest Honda store in the USA, the largest Audi Dealership in Northern California, the second largest Porsche store in the Bay area, in addition to two Acura stores in Silicon Valley and two more Honda stores in high income markets. Finally, as Vice President of Retail Operations for the Penske Group, Russ directed the Smart Car dealer launch initiative.
Russ graduated from the University of Florida with a BSBA degree in Marketing/Management.
Paul Hagan – Mergers & Acquisitions, USA
With over 35 years of automotive manufacturer and retail experience, Paul is an automotive industry professional who has worked with Ford, Volkswagen, Porsche, Audi, Land Rover, Honda and FCA.
He spent most of his career working in Dealer Development; at Land Rover North America he was instrumental in building their network of exclusive Land Rover Centers, and then at Audi of America he led Network Development in North America.
Paul successfully transitioned into the retail automotive environment working first as the operations manager, overseeing four import dealerships, and then as the general manager of a Honda and Acura dealership.
He earned his MBA from St Mary’s College in Moraga, California, and a Bachelor of Science in Business from San Diego State University.
Paul and his wife Linda live in Novi, Michigan.
Scott Reas – Business Development Leader, USA
Scott Reas is one of North America’s most accomplished Retail Auto SME’s. Scott created the original Sonic Automotive General Manager Academy after a long and successful career as a Multi-Line dealer.
As a senior Coach at NCM Scott lead hundreds for NCM of dealers in workshops and through rigorous financial and Business turn-around. Most recently Scott and his team have worked as Dealer Profitability, Employee / Customer Experience, Engagement and Advocacy / Loyalty coaches for Audi, BMW, Ford, Lincoln and Mercedes-Benz dealers in the USA, Canada and Asia on all aspects of Profit enhancement and employee and customer experience improvement.
Scott Reas is a 1977 Graduate of Michigan State University’s Broad School of Business.
Scott Reas contributes 37 years of automotive management experience with a particular emphasis in Dealership operations, accounting / bookkeeping and Advertising/marketing (Digital and Media) to the Dealer Solutions North America team.
John Resnick – Mergers & Acquisitions, USA
John Resnick is a principled Premium-Exotic career automotive executive with over two decades of Porsche and Penske experience. A visionary and trusted professional resource by many in the luxury car business, he maintains a 360-degree view for mutually beneficial results. “J.R.” – as he is known in Porsche and PAG circles – innately understands today’s dealer operations, and the resulting concerns operating as a principal. An autonomous dealer operator and NADA General Manager/Member, he is eminently qualified to represent the interests of his clientele.
A recognized Six-Time Porsche Premier Dealer Operator for PAG in Connecticut, John takes client satisfaction seriously with a friendly, upbeat, and public-company ethics posture for mutually beneficial long-term relationships.
John is a graduate of the University of Hartford with a B.A. in International Relations and lives with his wife and three children in Westport, CT. Together they enjoy karting, skiing, tennis, golf and the great outdoors.
Robert Stoetzer – Business Development Associate, USA
Bob Stoetzer has 28 years of experience in the automotive industry. At General Motor’s Holding Division in Detroit, he served as Branch Manager for 12 years and Regional Manager for 14 years. In the 1980’s he participated in a GM executive cross-training program, spending 2 years as a Pontiac Zone Manager in Dallas, Texas.
Since 2002, Bob has worked actively as an Independent Automobile Consultant.
He holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Administration from Albion College and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Wayne State University.
Bill Fields – Mergers & Acquisitions, USA
Bill has extensive automotive field and corporate experience with manufacturers ranging from domestic to foreign and from luxury to non-luxury.
He began his career in 1972 with Ford Motor Company and after nine years joined Volkswagen of America. Over the next 30 years he progressed through increasingly senior roles including time leading the national Market Representation department for Audi of America.
He directed the day–to-day operations of the two U.S. Automotive Financial Service Centers for Volkswagen Credit, Audi and Bentley Financial Services for his final ten years.
Since 2011, Bill has utilized his expertise as a consultant with a variety of companies including Cadillac, First Tennessee Bank, Volkswagen and a large metro dealer group.
Bill graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Science in Advertising and earned his Masters of Science in Business from Pennsylvania State University.
Doug Ross – Business Development Associate, USA
Doug Ross is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in Automotive and Media. Doug is highly skilled in business development, sales strategy, client management, negotiations and training. Doug demonstrates diverse experiences in automotive manufacturing, OEM corporate and field, finance, retail, marketing, and remarketing. This experience has provided creative solutions and measurable results for automotive clients.
Doug resides in Atlanta, Georgia with his family.
Debra Cutlip – Office Manager, USA
Debra Cutlip joins Dealer Solutions North America team with over 20 years corporate experience. Her expertise is in communications, marketing, project/office management, and event planning. Debra attended Oakland University in Rochester, Michigan. A Michigan native, Debra has spent the past 15 years in real estate and property management, enjoying the revitalization of downtown Detroit as it continues to grow and thrive.
A “jack of all trades”, Debra is equally qualified and comfortable leading a team project, addressing individual client concerns, or organizing a large event. She understands all the little details matter and demonstrates a high level of concern for her team and clients. To Debra, experience matters and she has developed just the right balance of urgency and calm to successfully manage any situation.
Brian Nosek – Marketing Planning Analyst, USA
Brian joins our USA consultant team with 16 years of experience in business administration. Skilled in investigating, tracking, documenting and communicating, Brian understands the process of getting a deal to the closing table and supports the team through each step. Simply put, he is an essential part of the backstage crew who make everything on stage run smoothly!
Brian holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in history and has taught at the middle school level. Though he finds teaching rewarding, Brian’s true passion is in coaching high school football and baseball, which he has been dedicated to for 21 years.
Arthur J. Madjarian – Chief Operating Officer
Born and raised in Toronto, Arthur began his automotive career in 1988 in the service department washing cars as a part time job after school. When given the opportunity he became a warranty clerk and service advisor at Saturn Saab Isuzu. It wasn’t long after on a Saturday morning he was asked to show a car to a prospect as the dealership’s sales team was tied up. Before he knew it he not only sold his first car but was bitten by the automotive bug.
Soon after Arthur took a position at a Volkswagen Audi dealership as a Service Advisor he worked his way up to Fixed Operations Manager. Shortly after he decided to take another swing at the sales department, working through the ranks until taking a position at a large BMW dealership. During his 15-year tenure at BMW he became the General Manager, Sales Operations. Guiding the store to become the largest volume BMW retailer in Canada for nine consecutive years.
Arthur has completed the NADA Dealer Candidate Program and brings extensive knowledge and experience to Dealer Solutions North America.
Outside of the office you can find Arthur enjoying the streets of downtown Toronto.
